* All nominations will be reviewed by the Volunteer of the Year Committee.  One "Volunteer of the Year" will be selected in each participating state.  Criteria used for evaluation includes length of time as a volunteer, specific responsibilities and duties performed, specific actions performed that is considered beyond normal duties, and ways the volunteer helped others.
